The next Difficult Dialogues lecture on Wednesday April 1 features Stanley B Greenberg, international pollster and consultant and author of “Dispatches from the War Room.” This is the ultimate political insider account of being in the heart of the war room during a campaign. From President Bill Clinton to Vice President Al Gore to South African President Nelson Mandela to Britain’s Tony Blair and Israel’s Ehud Barak, Greenberg was instrumental in crafting their strategies to win elections. Greenberg has been in the “war room” of more high-profile and volatile campaigns than any one else. “Reflections on how AIDS and ZIMBABWE compromise a better life for all” is the title of his lecture. Join us for this free lecture at 6pm at the New Learning Centre, Anatomy Building, Medical Faculty, Anzio Road, Observatory Enquiries: 021 557 0246 A project of the Economic Justice Initiative in association with the Cape Argus and the Ford Foundation, Difficult Dialogues is a series of public conversations discussing our difficulties. |
